Photos from our favourite railway line, taken throughout 2007. The collection will begin with the Easter bank holiday weekend, when I walked around the Eskdale valley.

My trip to the Bure Valley Railway on October 8th 2005, for their 15th birthday celebrations, resulted in these photos being taken. Several visitors made the journey to Norfolk, including the Ratty's own Northern Rock. New Romney's Canadian pacific Winston Churchill and American-outline diesel Captain Howey were there, as were Sian, Red Dragon and the BVR steam and diesel fleet. I rode behind Winston Churchill on the journey to Aylsham and then behind Northern Rock for the return leg. This was followed by a walk up the lineside footpath and then a ride behind the diesels back to Wroxham, on the last train of the day.
